News 27 Sept 2006
Yes! a year and a half with no news update, it's a record! Not one to be proud of however...
The good news is we've been having a few practices and we've got all the songs together for a new record, some need a bit of polishing but at least they all exist in some form or another. We really want to try and record before the end of the year.
We did a couple of gig's (steady on) in September in Cambridge and Leeds which were a really good laugh. Thanks to everyone who came out for those. No gigs in the pipe line at the moment but there will be soon.
We've also been given a secret stash of our first ep 'Down to you then, Supergirl'. It's the original pressing of the CD however they have no covers/artwork. If anyone should want one email Rob on rob@nathanielgreen.co.uk. They're a quid in person or £2 through Paypal/post.
Rob's other band Pylon have just released an album 'The Standard Fight' (one of the reason for our lack of action) on Gravity DIP records, have a look at www.pylonline.co.uk. Matt's new band Calcutecs (featuring other ex-Dugong members and some new faces) are now out and playing live, including supporting Samian in Leeds on 20 October.
That's it for now! cheers Rob and Matt. |
